Club & Group Engagement

The democratic process doesn’t take place in a vacuum—people are more likely to become civically engaged if those around them are also civically engaged and supportive.

Fortunately, the US is enjoying a surge of people willing to engage their colleagues, friends, and acquaintances to get out and vote. In its 2020 Pre-Election Youth Poll, CIRCLE and Tufts University’s Tisch College found that “along with political activism, peer-to-peer voter outreach is increasing to even greater rates than in 2018, which saw a surge in youth participation. After the 2018 election, 33% of youth reported trying to convince their peers to vote, and 11% said they had registered new voters. Those numbers have skyrocketed: Today, months before the election, 50% of youth say they’ve already tried to convince others to vote, and 25% say they have helped register voters.”

To equip those seeking to engage others in the democratic process with the best-in-class tools and resources directly, we directly reach out to organizations, clubs, and groups to connect them to organizations that will help their members to register to vote, cast their ballots, and make informed decisions.

We also connect organizations interested in empowering more than just their members with easy-to-use toolkits that enable them to easily engage friends, colleagues, and families in the democratic process (ensuring they know how and where to go if they would like to have their voices be heard in this election cycle).
